The salon - a place to relax and listen to music or watch TV

Situated above the downstairs bedroom this room interconnects with the new apartment and houses an elegant and copious lounge suite and a communications corner. The home office corner has the 'in house' lap top computer with colour printer for your digital snaps. American guests can keep up to date with events in the United States on MSNBC. There is also a 'Livebox' internet connection and the house telephone.
The room has a modern 20Kw log burning room heater stove (there is an ample supply of logs beneath the external stairs). There is also a music centre and a stock of children's CDs and Video tapes. The Television, Video recorder and BluRay DVD player are for standard European PAL systems not the local French SECAM one. The TV will accept UK satellite transmissions. Unfortunately the decoder box is not provided due to licensing restrictions but you may bring your own.
It was from the sofa in this room through the French doors on the right that the owners saw the hoopoe pictured on the wildlife page feeding on the rear terrace.
To the apartment.
